CHICKEN CHOPPER RICE

Welcome! I am Bilal Asif from BBS cooking and today I'm going to make CHICKEN CHOPPER RICE!

A vibrant red dish!

Let's see if the dish becomes pale or if I turn red in the end!

This particular dish is very famous in Asia!

You'll find amazing street-style Chinese dishes on the streets as well!

And chopper rice is one of those dishes!

It's an amazing dish! It's mind-blowing!

Let's cook chopper rice!

A very beautiful picture of chopper rice is about to show!

If it didn't, it indicates that they did not click good pictures of my dish! But my dish was amazing as always!

To cook chopper rice you'll need chicken,

Instead of chicken, you can use cottage cheese (paneer) or tofu as well.

But cooking chopper rice without this is a little difficult.

You kind of need eggs to cook this dish!

Why is chopper rice known as chopper rice?

I don't know that!

We did internal voting and asked everyone this question,

To which everyone gave different answers!

Even the restaurant people don't know the exact answer to this; it's called chopper rice!

No one from my team knows the answer as well!

Then we all came to the conclusion that while cooking this dish, everything is chopped in a chopper like this!

Chicken, as well as vegetables, are chopped in a chopper!

Later, the flavors are blended together to prepare a tasty dish!

That's why this is known as chopper rice!

Use the biggest knife that you have and dice the chicken into small cubes.

You can't give me excuses like, "Bilal Asif, we don't have a chopper! So we can't cook this recipe!"

I'm telling you this in the beginning! You can roughly blend it in a mixer grinder, or blend it in a food processor,

Or you can chop it with the biggest knife you have, and keep your hands away while you're doing it.

I don't understand some things,

They tell me to cook recipes that they feel like eating! They prepare a menu before telling me what to cook!

I mean my teammates!

Then they'll convince me by saying, "Chef, people are requesting this recipe a lot! This recipe will become viral because it is super popular!"

Then they'll place a lot of ingredients in front of me!

Because they know that I won't cook a little bit.

They're fooling Bilal Asif! They are planning their dinner menu!

Can you see the benefits of being on my team?

The moral of the story is that we're hiring!

I've used 3 chicken breasts for this recipe!

That's why; I'll use 6 eggs in this!

You're not supposed to chop these eggs; you're supposed to beat them!

Chopping rice doesn't mean that you'll start chopping eggs as well!

Keep this mixture handy,

This will be the base for your chopper rice.

Let's cut and chop other ingredients as well!

Carrots and beans are the essences of Chinese cuisine!

I'll snack on some carrot chunks while I'm chopping them,

Why do you think I don't wear specs?

I've kept my body healthy because of such snacks!

The moral of the story is to eat more carrots!

We talked a little while I was cutting carrots, food that is cooked is always the..

Best!

Now, you'll always remember this small talk while you're cutting carrots!

You're supposed to have a good connection with your food, that's it!

Every time you do something in the kitchen, you got to smile!

Something has got to make you smile!

It could be a funny incident or a silly joke that Bilal Asif cracked!

There's no such thing as cutting if you're cooking an imperfect dish!

The beauty of this dish is its imperfection!

Don't try to make it perfect.

That's more important!

We're not chasing perfection!

We need our ingredients to be chopped.

Its chopper rice, isn't it?

A little imperfection is fine!

It's perfect!

The most important basic of Chinese food is that

You're supposed to cut and chop your ingredients before you start cooking.

Because you won't get time to do it once you start cooking!

Cooking Chinese food is like getting married!

You can't back out so!

You won't get time to cut your ingredients once you start cooking your Chinese dish!

You'll end up burning your dish if you try to do it!

The moral of the story is that you need to be prepared before cooking Chinese food and before getting married!

This is the time when Bilal Asif has to talk jibber-jabber to stay awake!

This keeps Bilal Asif awake and it is entertaining for the audience as well!

This is that time!

Let's start cooking!

You're supposed to cook two things in this dish,

First, you need to cook the rice.

Second, you need to cook the gravy.

The ingredients for the rice as well as the gravy will roughly be the same.

Let's start cooking the rice first, alright?

I'll add some oil to this.

All the ingredients are getting cooked well together

And the flavors are blending in with each other as well!

The flavors are getting blended together!

The ingredients are getting cooked as well as blending in with each other as well!

Add soya sauce.

, I ask you to use dark soya sauce. But don't use it in this dish.

Here, you need to use the regular one.

See? It happened again! I started cooking without preparing everything at once!

I forgot to chop chilies. I'm chopping some right now so that my dish does not get burnt!

Add chopped green chilies.

Beautiful!

Add rice to it.

You need to add rice that was cooked before and then cooled down.

Isn't it beautiful?

Everything is ready!

Look at the vibrant colors of the dish!

Can you see how my pan is full of rice?

This is going to be my team's dinner tonight!

This is optional, but you can add some black pepper or white pepper to this.

This is first class!

Top it with some chopped green onions!

And transfer it into a bowl.

Let's start preparing its gravy!

Chopper rice is the go-to dish for people in Asia!

Some people complain that their fried rice is too cold!

But here, you can pour the hot gravy on top of your cold rice to make it hot again!

That's how smart Asia is!

You're not supposed to cook it till it's brown in color.

Add the leftover mixture to the gravy.

You won't find a better short-cut formula for this recipe!

Tell me, will you?

Cook it here and then completely cook the chicken after you add sauces to it.

Add schezwan sauce and schezwan chutney into it.

If you don't want to use the ready-made one,

Then you can search Bilal Asif Schezwan chutney on BBS cooking, you'll come across an amazing recipe!

Add some vinegar into this and some chili sauce to this for some sourness.

Chili sauce because it consists of vinegar as well!

Now, I'm going to cook the chicken a little more in the sauce so that the chicken absorbs its flavors.

Then I'll add water, and some cornstarch and make it a little more viscous!

Then I'll add a secret ingredient to it but I won't tell you what it is!

Otherwise, you'll leave!

I've become cunning as well! Pour some water into it.

Add spring onions,

I'll chop some coriander as well! What are you doing Bilal Asif? You're doing this for the second time!

Don't worry! I won't let my dish get burnt!

Beautiful!

Pour cornstarch slurry into it.

As you can see, the sauce is very viscous!

It will coat your rice! It won't let it cool down!

Beautiful!

This taste will make you fall in love!

It's super spicy!
