Ingredients
Ingredients for making Boiled Daals:
Yellow lentils (soaked mong dal) ½ cup
Water 3 ½ cups
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Ingredients for making tadka:
Cooking oil 1/4 cup
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Cumin 1 teaspoon
Sepal leaves 2-3
Dry red chilies 5-6
Ingredients for making Chicken Tikka Dal:
Cooking oil 1/4 cup
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Green chilies (chopped) 2-3
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Tomatoes (chopped) 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Proven Spice Powder 1 tsp
Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Dry mango powder 1 tsp
Boiled lentils
Water 2 cups

DIRECTIONS

How to make Chicken Tikka Daal?
1. To make boiled dal, add soaked dal, water, salt, and
turmeric powder to a pot, mix well and let it boil.
2. Now cover with a lid and cook the dal until 80% cooked
close the stove and keep aside.
3. To make chicken Tikka dal, soften the Tikka topping
according to the instructions on the pack.
4. Now fry the Tikka topping as per the instructions given
on the pack.
5. To make tadka, heat cooking oil in a pan, add garlic, and
cook for one minute. Now add cumin seeds, coriander leaves, and dry red
chilies, and cook for one to two minutes. The tadka is ready.
6. Now heat cooking oil in another pot and add garlic and
cook for one minute. Then add cumin seeds and green chilies and cook for a
minute.
7. Then add onions and cook for some time. Now add tomatoes
and cook till the tomatoes become soft.
8. Now add turmeric powder, proven spice powder, red chili
powder, salt, and dry mango powder and mix well.
9. Then add boiled dal and mix well. Now add the prepared
tikka topping to it and cover the lid and cook the yellow lentils on medium
heat until it is cooked well. Then put the prepared tadka on this dal.
10. Put the dal in a dish and garnish it with green
coriander. The delicious chicken Tikka dal is ready.
